At the Victorian Marriage Hub, the flagship registry service is Melbourne Marriage Registry, Victoria’s most established private marriage registry service originating in 2010, offering legal registry marriage ceremonies in a purpose-designed venue at 915 Punt Road, South Yarra.
The Hub also brings together related registry and diverse ceremony services operating from the same location, allowing couples to compare options and choose the marriage registry or ceremony style that best suits their needs.

Honoured with multiple Victorian and national wedding industry awards, it is widely regarded as one of Victoria’s original boutique registry destinations — a standard that many have since sought to replicate. From the outset, the registry was purpose-designed exclusively for marriage ceremonies, setting it apart from later entrants operating from adapted office spaces.
Originally founded as Melbourne Private Marriage Registry, this registry pioneered a refined, modern approach to registry-style weddings, delivering legal ceremonies with professional, experienced celebrants in a purpose-designed ceremony room, as well as on-location mobile ceremonies throughout Victoria.
The ceremony room blends a touch of the formality of Births, Deaths and Marriages – Victoria Marriage Registry, with a refined, more modern elective aesthetic, creating a setting that feels official, inviting, elegant and meaningful.
Complete with it’s black baby grand piano (encouraging visiting professional musicians to sit down and play!) and adorned with a few stunning international sculpture pieces and modern Indigenous art on the walls of the space, this classic ceremony room — with almost four-metre-high ceilings — has a warm and distinctly inviting atmosphere which caters to couples and families from all walks of life and from all around the world. Vows On The Move is the mobile celebrant division of the Victorian Marriage Hub, delivering beautifully crafted wedding ceremonies on-location across Melbourne, throughout Victoria, and some interstate and destination locations.
Each Vows On The Move celebrant meets a carefully curated standard of real industry experience and professional presentation, and is trained to deliver ceremonies in a distinctive, modern style. Rather than approaching weddings as just a legal formality, these celebrants create deeply personal ceremonies that are warm, joyful and engaging — setting the tone for a celebration from the very first moment.
With a strong focus on connection, storytelling and atmosphere, Vows On The Move ceremonies are designed to feel natural, uplifting and memorable for couples and guests alike.
From intimate elopements and micro-weddings to full-scale destination celebrations, the emphasis is always on creating an experience that feels genuine, relaxed and truly reflective of the couple.

The Wedding Lounge is a dedicated ceremony and event space within the Victorian Marriage Hub, available to couples who may wish to bring their own celebrant or design a personalised ceremony experience.
The ceremony space accommodates up to 40 guests and offers flexibility, style and creative freedom.

Directions
There is only one entrance to the Victorian Marriage Hub, and it is at the front of the building at 893–915 Punt Road, South Yarra.
Google Maps may occasionally direct visitors to the rear of the location. Entry is via Punt Road only.
You will recognise the building from the bright Tiffany blue brick fence out the front.
NOTE: Short-stay parking is available in the following streets: Airlie Street, The Righi, Witchwood Close, Gordon Grove, Domain Road. Please ignore all references to residents parking unless you intend to stay long past the green parking sign time limits.

How to Get Married? The easiest way to get started in Victoria:
- Print out the Notice of Intended Marriage form (NOIM) Page 3 and 4. Click to download the form here.
- Fill out page 3 of the NOIM. If you are unsure or any part – leave it blank and then the team a Marriage Victoria and Melbourne Marriage Registry can help you fill it out with ‘real person’ assistance – at no extra cost to you.
- Get page 4 of the NOIM form legally signed/witnessed on the top line of the page, in person, with an authorised witness as listed in the NOIM explanatory notes. Or to book for a ‘video witnessing’ call the Marriage Victoria office mobile between 9am and 8 pm on 0424778800, 7 Days a week, to get one of the authorised celebrants to legally witness your printed out NOIM form on a video call utilising either FaceTime or WhatApp.
- Then scan or Photograph page 3 and 4 and email back to office@marriagevictoria.com.au to commence the lodgement process.
- You will then receive an email with the ’Next Step’ which includes instructions on how to pay for the $175 NOIM lodgement and what to do next.
- After your lodgement is complete you are then able to book your ceremony date anytime from one month after the lodgement date, and right up to 18 months after that date, at the ceremony room of Melbourne Marriage Registry, or to book for a celebrant-led wedding at the location of your choice.
